NATURAL-LOOK BASE

I don’t know about you but with the warm weather upon us, I don’t like my face feeling too heavy with make-up so hearing that covering your entire face with foundation is a no-no this season is good news for me. The aim is to use as little coverage as possible and make-up artists say that most people can get an even skin tone with just a tinted moisturiser (with sunscreen). If you want to hide away blemishes, apply dots of concealer and a brush of loose powder.

Check out : I only ever use Olay moisturiser now and unfortunately, they don’t have tinted moisturisers. If you’re as devoted to your current moisturiser as I am and don’t want to switch to another brand that stocks tinted moisturisers, all you do is mix in a blob of foundation with your Olay moisturiser.

Home Remedies for Removing Pimples

 Home Remedies for Removing Pimples

 Home Remedies for Acne (Pimples)
Acne vulgaris is more commonly known as acne and is a common skin condition marked by non-inflammatory follicular papules, inflammatory papules, pustules and nodules in more severe forms.  Acne most commonly affects areas of skin that contain dense sebaceous follicles including; the face, upper portion of the chest and back.  Other names which refer to acne are pimples, spots, blemishes or zits.
What Causes Acne?
As a result of follicles being blocked by oils, dirt, keratin and sebum, acne develops.  Whiteheads result from the pores of skin being blocked with sebum and dead skin cells and due to resulting bacteria which causes inflammation and infection.  The reasons why a person develops acne and others do not is not fully understood, some experts feel it is a result of hereditary, hormones, dietary habits, stress, halogen exposure, chemical exposure or use of amphetamines or other drugs.
 How to Treat Acne Naturally
While there many traditional treatments for acne, some people cannot tolerate the medications or treatments and need to seek alternatives to alleviate the condition.  Such natural or home remedies for acne include the following:
Aloe Vera:  Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) practices mention treating acne with a combination of aloe vera, neem, turmeric and papaya.  It is believed a combination of the herbs contains anti-inflammatory properties and can alleviate symptoms of acne.
Calendula:  (marigold) used in a suspension is an excellent anti-inflammatory for a variety of skin conditions including acne.
Heat:  it is believed that applying heat to the skin can kill the bacteria that causes acne and can aid in healing as well. Tea Tree Oil:  when dissolved in a carrier of 5% strength, can kill bacteria without excessively drying out the skin.
Zinc supplements:  when administered orally zinc supplements have been proven to be effective in relieving the inflammation associated with acne.
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5): experts believe high doses of the vitamin can be successful in treating acne inflammation.
Chick pea paste:  practitioners of Ayurvedic medicine recommend washing the face with a mixture made of chick peas (one teaspoon of chick pea flour mixed with water) and pat dry with a clean towel.
Almond powder paste and goats milk patted onto the face and left for a period of 5-10 minutes and rinsed, can alleviate the inflammation associated with acne.
Detoxification:  a method commonly used by alternative medical practitioners, the process is intended to remove toxins from the environment, medications, diet, food and cosmetics out of the body.
A mask made from turmeric and sandalwood cream applied to the face and gently rinsed with tepid water can also reduce redness and inflammation of acne.
Beans:  some homeopathic healers recommend using a concoction made from beans.  The recipe requires boiling green beans for 10 minutes, adding 3 tablespoons of dried chamomile to the tea, steeping until cool and pouring the mixture into a bottle.  Use the liquid to cleanse the face up to three times per week until acne clears up.
Adding a brewer’s yeast table after every meal has shown promise in some people seeking a natural acne treatment.  The supplement contains chromium which is an essential mineral that aids in processing sugar.  Homeopathic practitioners recommend 2 tablespoons per day to help heal acne and prevent spreading or worsening of the condition.
Apple cider vinegar or lemon juice:  the skin can be cleaned using either apple cider vinegar or lemon juice dabbed onto a cotton ball.  The acid in the liquids will help flush the pores and acts like an astringent removing excess oil, normalizing the pH of skin and killing bacteria.  Another method to use is by steaming the face over a pan of boiled water removed from the stove and then using the lemon juice on a cotton ball to remove dirt and oil buildup.  After the lemon juice has dried, apply apple cider vinegar to the skin to close the pores, this method can be done up to three times per week until desired results are achieved.
Vitamin A:  helps reduce sebum levels and is an important vitamin for maintaining healthy skin.  When treating acne a dose of 10-15,000 I.U. and 400 I.U. of vitamin D is recommended daily.  In severe cases of acne the dosage should be increased to 25,000 I.U., but only under medical supervision.
Molkosan:  the product is a bi-product of cheese manufacturing and derived from whey.  Add a tablespoon to water and drink with meals, the liquid aids in digestion and regulates the metabolism.  It is also recommended to soak a cloth or cotton balls in a Molkosan overnight and apply it to affected areas for antiseptic purposes.
Witch hazel:  witch hazel is an excellent all natural astringent and can be used as a facial wash for those suffering from acne.  Witch hazel will deeply penetrate into the pores of the skin and help unclog oil and sebum deposits and kill bacteria, thus helps in reducing inflammation and spreading associated with acne.

Sun Effects on Skin Information

Sun Effects on Skin Information

Repeated Sun Exposure is responsible for

  1. Pigmentation changes such as freckles, brown spots, liver spots, uneven skin tone or hyperpigmentation (over active) signal the first signs of sun damage. More than 90% of sun damage skin presents darker color changes before wrinkles or fine lines appear.
  2. Hypopigmentation, no color or pigmentation, permanent white spots.
  3. Telangiectasia (tee-lang-jeck-tah-zee-ah), permanent dilation of small blood vessels, spider veins, often on the face, neck and chest, giving the skin a constant red flush.
  4. Wrinkles, premature or accelerated aging called photoaging. The “Velcro” like layer holding the epidermis (top layer) and the dermis (second layer) together is flattened allowing the two layers to slide in different directions causing bruising. UVA rays destroy the collagen and elastin in the dermis (second major skin layer) causing the layer to shrink and crack allowing the epidermis (top skin layer) to hang off the body like "baggy clothes" responsible for loose or redundant skin.
  5. Epidermal thickening occurs as protection against the sun the texture may be rough to the touch. Clients often say they never feel pain or discomfort; they have "tough skin".
  6. Senile comedones, (KOM-e-do) blackheads caused by repeated sun exposure prominent on construction and road workers.
  7. Actinic keratoses, actinic is the Greek word for sun, keratoses is the medical name for callous = sun callous = scaly lesions often precancerous.
  8. Basal and squamous cell carcinoma and the fastest rising cancer, melanoma. Melanoma rates in children less than 15 years increased by 60% between 1992 and 2001, according to the National Cancer Institute. The melanoma rate nearly doubled between 1973 and 1994 for people ages 15 to 29, and increased about 10% since then. It is the most diagnosed cancer in women ages 22 to 29.
  9. Cataracts, lens in the eyes thicken as a protective response to the sun.
Sunlight in small doses is essential for our bodies to produce vitamin D. Small doses often turn into larger doses with the distraction of out door activities to protect ourselves a sunblock or sunscreen is necessary.

Learn How you can Remove Acne With the Correct Diet regime

Learn How you can Remove Acne With the Correct Diet regime

What kinds of food causes acne breakout? The question is rather difficult to answer because the same food does not affect everyone in the same way. Some people are allergic to chocolates and fatty foods while others can eat them everyday and not have any specific problems. Knowing what types of acne foods to shun is a rather difficult choice to make because of this lack of certainty. The best way to go about this is to simply eat what is generally considered to be the best diet for not only acne but your overall health. This is a well balanced diet that has all the necessary nutrients and is low on processed foods or foods that are high in sugar and fat content. These healthy foods are mostly whole foods including vegetables and fruits and lots of other stuff with a lot of high water content. You can prepare them rather easily on your own in your own house.Instead of eating white rice or lots of fluffy white breads that are high in simple carbs, try eating something like brown rice and sweet potatoes. Basically you want to eat food that is low on the glycemic index and thus they don’t spike up your insulin by being converted to sugar. The less sugar you take, the better it is for your skin to be honest.Don’t expect your skin to clear up immediately after you start eating healthy because that won’t happen. But you’ll feel better and your skin will get better eventually. You will see less and less pimple showing up on your skin and you’ll be happy enough to notice that your skin is clearing up gradually. Its not an overnight cure but diet certainly helps a great deal! What are some of the supplements to eat in your acne diet? You can consider eating fish oils because they are high in Omega-3 and are known to help fight inflammations. If you’re a vegetarian you may want to consider eating something like flax seed oil or evening primrose oil as substitutes for something like fish oil. Avoid high cholesterol food and eat lean meat whenever you can. Stop eating frozen meat and go for fresh farm-raised chicken or beef if necessary. To test if your acne diet works or not you can simply stop eating specific foods for a while and tend observe the effects on your skin. You may notice that once you stop eating specific foods, you will have lesser acne breakouts. These acne foods are known as triggers and if you find out what they are, they will aid you greatly in getting rid of acne forever. While eating a good acne diet you should also wash your face often and treat your skin with the right acne medication or creams because you need to heal your skin not only internally but externally as well. This combination will help you get acne free in no time.In the end, an acne diet is a long term solution that really does work and if you do it right you might even cure acne naturally and forever without the need for other expensive acne creams or treatment methods. Sometimes addressing the problem at the roots may just be a better solution than dealing only with the symptoms.

Hair Color: Two Rules for Success

Hair Color: Two Rules for SuccessJust a simple change in shade, tone and color can give you an instant makeover, and with the quality and range of dye's available today, can look completely natural or as out there as you like.
When deciding to go for the big change it is important to remember there are two simple rules when it comes to picking the best shade for your hair.
Rule #1: Staying Within Your Natural Color Range
If you have dark hair and want to go lighter - go for it! Just remember that your hair will look better if you stay within 3 or 4 shades of your natural hair color rather than grabbing the peroxide and going for white blonde. For fair hair going darker, the same rules apply. Any color too far away from your natural tone will simply look odd.
Going blonde works best on naturally mousy blondes. People with light brown to mid brown locks will look great with blonde highlights. Redheads can also go blonde, but should do so with caution as blonde hair can look very harsh against their natural skin tone.
Opting for brunette shades is fine for blondes, as long as they don't go too dark. Light or mid brown toned hair will blend fantastically with ash and golden brown tones. If you have naturally dark hair already and don't want too drastic a change, splice your hair with rich browns and burgundy colors.
For a red-hot look, natural blondes should try pale chestnut tones. Light to dark brown shades can spice it up with flame, auburn and chestnut, while black hair will look especially fiery with mahogany highlights.
Rule #2: Matching With Your Skin Tone
There are two basic types of skin tones - warm and cool.
People with warm skin have yellow or golden undertones and look good in gold jewelry. An easy way to tell if you have a warm tone is to see if the veins on the inside of your arms are tinged with green.
Cool skin has pinkish based or blue undertones and looks fabulous in silver jewelry, and will have blue tinged veins.
If you naturally have dark or olive skin, try to stay with darker hair colors. Yellow skin tones will look good with dark and rich colors, such as deep auburn, and pale skin will match almost any color. Pink skin is fantastic for neutral tones such as beige blonde and chocolate brown, but can look too pink with shades of red and gold.
Another easy way to know if a color will suit you is to match your eyes to your skin tone.
Pale skin and blue eyes will naturally suit blonde tones, while a medium skin tone with hazel eyes will look great with dark blonde and copper colors. Darker skin with any eye color is perfect for pulling off dramatic shades of purple and mahogany.

Some Tips For Beautiful Hairs

Some Tips For Beautiful Hairs

1. Avoid shampoos that contain sodium laurel sulfate, or sodium laureth sulfate. These chemicals are synthetic detergents that are used in dishwashing liquid and other cleansers. They are valued because they lather well, but they are very harsh, and can dry out your hair. Instead, look for shampoos made with decyl glucose, or decyl glucoside, which are much gentler.

2. Give yourself a hot oil treatment to deep condition your hair. Warm oil penetrates the hair shaft making the hair more flexible and giving it shine. This can also help to prevent split ends which result from dry hair.
3. Eat right and consider taking vitamin and mineral supplements to encourage healthy hair. Several vitamins and minerals have been shown to help hair growth and condition including biotin, vitamin E, vitamin B, vitamin C and MSM.

4. If you are an African American, or if you have extra curly hair, avoid brushing your hair. Use a wide toothed comb, or your fingers to work with your hair. Brushes can destroy African American or extra curly hair by shearing it out of the scalp.
5. Look for essential oils, herbs and vegetable oils in your hair care products. Essential oils such as rosemary, ylang-ylang and west indian bay help to stimulate hair growth. Lavender and tea tree and naturally antiseptic and help to fight dandruff. Vegetable oils such as soybean oil, safflower oil and corn oil are moisturizing and conditioning to the hair shaft.

6. Avoid sleeping in hair accessories such as barrettes, scrunchies, head bands, etc. This can lead to hair damageZejdz zmoich wlosow (Get off my hair)
7. Massage your scalp to help stimulate hair growth. Massaging helps stimulate hair growth by increasing the blood flow to the scalp. This nourishes the hair roots and helps to stimulate the hair growth process.

8. If your hair ends are damaged, give yourself a trim every so often to remove damage.

 Get Rid From Acne
Dont be live with acne any more ,here are some easy treatments for acne.

Most people who suffer from acne go out and spend good money on common over-the-counter acne treatment products. The truth is, most of these products are full of chemicals that can actually slow down the healing of acne, and irritate your skin, causing farther breakouts.
When an acne product has 20 ingredients listed on it, it can be hard to know if one of those ingredients is actually stopping you from having success. It can be even harder when you can't pronounce the ingredient, much less know what it is and how it is going to affect your skin.
Most mainstream acne treatments are not only much more expensive than common household items, but they also don't always work as well either. With that in mind, I will list some basic household items that can work wonders on clearing up your skin.

Baking soda ' A very cheap cooking ingredient that most people have in their homes already, baking soda can be used as a great scrub. The purpose of a scrub is to exfoliate the skin, removing dead skin that can eventually clog pores and lead to acne spots.
To start off, you'll want to mix a small amount of baking soda with some water for form a paste. Baking soda is very effective as a scrub, so you want to be sure to be extra careful when applying it to your face. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.

Apple Cider Vinegar ' Though most people that use vinegar to treat acne use the apple cider form of vinegar, you can also use plain old regular vinegar. Regardless of which type you use, vinegar can be very helpful with it comes to clearing up acne. It can kill off acne causing bacteria, balance your skin's pH, and absorb extra oil on your skin.
Starting with clean, dry skin, apply diluted vinegar (eight parts water to one part vinegar) directly to your skin with a cotton ball, and leave it on. If you want, you can also use a stronger vinegar solution (say, 2 or 3 parts water to 1 part vinegar), and apply it directly to problem areas, rinsing it off after ten minutes.
Lemon or lime juice can also be substituted for vinegar. Both of these juices are rich in citric acid, and can exfoliate your skin very well, halting the growth of acne spots, as well as fading previous, non-active acne quicker.

Egg Whites ' Rich in protein, egg whites can be used as a mask to heal and rebuild your skin. It can also help to absorb excess oil from your skin.
To start off, crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.
Oatmeal ' As odd as it may seem, oatmeal can absorb unwanted oil and draw out impurities which reside deep in your skin. Cook some plain oatmeal like you would for consumption. Let it cool off, and rub it over your clean skin. Let it sit for a while, like you would a mask, and then rinse off. If you do this on a regular basis, you should begin to start noticing results soon.
